Handling is generally a safe stat to mod for on any weapon. The ability to more quickly fire and reload is valuable for every weapon. For some weapons, modding for damage is irrelevant. For example the Stormslinger (damage is preset) or the warbow (initial damage is so low, that even maxing it for mod damage only gains you a couple of points).

I was glad I held to my hunting bow because of the glinthawks critical strike lodge challenge (as in, I needed a weaker bow, but I'll not spot the tactic in case you haven't been there yet). 6) Boxes with weapon mods will always have weapon mods, and the same for boxes with armor mods. This can actually come in quite handy if you're only looking for one type of mod. Drop all the other boxes on the ground, and then pick them back up. You'll now have all your mods separated by type, weapons vs armor. Maxed mods:

After the latest update, the highest percentage that i've obtained are. 50% damage, weapon elementals and tear. 63% handling. 15% stealth. 30% armor elementals.
